Part of American Olean’s 100th anniversary benchmark Foyer collection, Steely is rated V4 random for shade variation — every tile carries its own veining pattern, an asset rather than a liability for marble-look programs. Water absorption is under 0.5% (ASTM C373), breaking strength exceeds 275 lbs (ASTM C648), MOHS scratch hardness is 6.0 polished, and chemical resistance meets ASTM C650. TrueEdge rectified edges deliver tight, contemporary grout lines. Important: the polished finish does not meet 0.42 wet DCOF for level interior wet floors — Steely Polished 12×24 is best specified for walls, shower walls, fireplace surrounds, accent features, dry residential floors, and commercial wall applications.
